Duccio di Segna
As far back as 1820 in Colle Val d’Elsa in Tuscany, Italy, thanks to the wooded terrain and the rushing waters, crystal working began, becoming a distinctive feature of the territory and leading generations of master glassblowers and engravers. The exclusive Duccio di Segna crystal company began operations in 1984, when Vasco Conti brought his decades of experience in the production of crystal to this project, both in Italy and internationally. His deep, forty-year knowledge of the industry has allowed Duccio di Segna to become one of the most important names in the national crystal industry today. All creations are made from the purest crystal, which attains its true value when master glassmakers, working at a material temperature of 1150 degrees, shape it into objects that are always unique in their beauty and quality.
