Alessandro Zambelli

Alessandro Zambelli trained in industrial design and materials engineering at the Cova School of Design in Milan, launching his professional journey in 2000. After several formative years in Milan, he relocated to the countryside near Mantua, a landscape rich in history, culture, and evocative atmospheres that continues to influence his creative vision.

His work is driven by an ongoing exploration of the relationship between people, objects, and their surrounding environments. Combining a deep curiosity for materials with a strong interest in emerging technologies, Zambelli develops projects that balance poetic sensitivity with technical rigor.

Throughout his career, he has worked across a wide range of disciplines, including product design, industrial design, creative direction, installations, experimental craftsmanship, and industrial research. These diverse practices converge into a coherent design philosophy rooted in experimentation and innovation. His projects have received important international recognition, including the European Consumer Choice Award in 2011, the NYIGF Award in 2012, the ADI Award for Innovation in 2014, the Interior Innovation Award in 2015, and the Premio dei Premi in 2015, conferred by the President of the Italian Republic. His work has been exhibited across Europe, the United States, China, Korea, and Japan.
