Black and white portrait of Costantino Morosin in profile, wearing glasses and a gray beard, with a blurred vintage map background.

The multifaceted Italian artist Costantino Morosin was born in Veneto in 1950. After studying scenography, he worked as a documentary director in Africa and received international recognition for his work. In later years, he explored various artistic forms, including collages, murals and polypropylene objects. He has embraced digital art and telematics technologies, creating digital images and interactive performances. However, his interest in nature and the use of local materials brought Morosin’s attention back to the natural environment. He created sculptures, murals and paintings using tuff, stones and glass. He also created public works and founded the “Opera Bosco”, a natural art museum in Calcata. In recent years, he has created territorial works based on GPS satellite tracks called “SIGNA”. He currently lives and works in Calcata, a medieval village near Rome.
