Born in 1959 in Turin, Ferdi Giardini graduated in 1982 from the Accademia di Belle Arti (Fine Arts Academy) in Turin after following a course in stage design and worked as a stage designer until 1985-86. He leads a design practice where freehand sketching, virtual methods, and a rich range of materials converge. His objects are dense with meaning—“tactile poetry” that bridges past and future narratives. Deeply emotionally resonant, his work emerges as conceptual and evocative forms crafted for contemplation or use.
