Harri Koskinen

Harri Koskinen (born 1970, Karstula, Finland) is renowned for his minimalist yet expressive approach. His furniture and versatile design objects have aroused great international interest. Educated at Lahti and Helsinki, he gained global fame with his “Block Lamp” (1996). He founded Friends of Industry in 2000 and later launched his own label, Harri Koskinen Works.
He was recently named Young Designer of the Year in Finland. His vision blends Nordic simplicity with conceptual integrity—designs are simultaneously functional, aesthetic, and emotionally charged.
