Jörg Boner (born 1968 in Uster, Switzerland) is a Swiss designer whose work bridges functional precision and conceptual clarity. Trained initially as a cabinetmaker and later at the Schule für Gestaltung in Basel, he founded his own design studio in Zurich in 2001.
Since 2003, he has taught at ECAL in Lausanne, shaping new generations of designers.
Jörg Boner approaches design as a thoughtful interrogation of production methods and cultural contexts. His creations distill everyday products to their essence, balancing elegance with practicality and urging a deeper reflection on how objects come into being.
