Folco Orlandini was born in Grosseto in 1972. He graduated from Milan Polytechnic. Since 2009, together with his father Paolo and a team of young creatives, he has been carrying out the activity of the “Orlandini Design” studio. They have a design approach in which long experience in the profession meets with a keener attention to new trends, new materials and new technologies. The studio mainly deals with industrial design in the residential and contract / office areas. The stylistic feature of Orlandini Design products is above all the great formal cleanliness which means designing technical solutions that make the product cheap and reliable with an eye to production problems. The studio’s design approach is very pragmatic and aimed at creating objects. We follow the project from the initial spark, through a long path made of obstacles and stimulating problems, up to serial production. Ideas are our precious raw material, but they must be transformed into tangible objects so that our work could be considered “over”.
