Born in Finland in 1967, he is based in Helsinki where he works as a designer. His approach to design is characterized by a sculptural and poetic language that remains strongly connected to functionality, reflecting the values of Scandinavian design.
In 2010 he was recognized as Furniture Designer of the Year in Finland. Alongside his professional activity, he is also involved in teaching, holding courses in furniture design at Aalto University in Helsinki and at the Lahti Institute of Design and Fine Arts.
