Description

The elegant Buds table lamp with diffused light. Hand-blown cased five-layer glass diffuser with glossy finish. The internal glass layer is a pale, straw-yellow color to make the light warmer and the color more intense. The warm version appears ivory in hue when the lamp is on and it remains white when off. The base consists of a totally transparent PMMA cylinder, milled according to a pattern and with a mirror-finish polish applied by hand. The support base is covered with a transparent anti-static protective film. The glass is secured to the base by means of a cup-shaped ring nut; there is an ON/OFF switch on the transparent electrical cable which leads out of an oblique groove in the base. The base is packed in a customized product pouch with specific scratch-resistant material which should be used to clean the base itself. Since the aperture of the glass is rather noticeable, the light bulb remains clearly in sight and thus plays an aesthetic role. For this reason, a retrofit LED or fluorescent light bulb with white globe with a diameter of 4″3/4 should be used in sizes A and B – and with a diameter of 3″1/2 in size C. Lightbulbs NOT included. Warehouse Delivery consists of delivering your order to a warehouse of your choice. This delivery is offered at no extra cost. The order will not be unpacked, installed or assembled in any way.

Curbside Delivery

Curbside Delivery consists of delivering your order to the first protected area outside of your home or designated destination (for example: garage, front porch, entrance) and is also offered at no extra cost. The order will not be delivered to an indoor location or be carried to another floor. It will not be unpacked, installed or assembled and removal of debris or old furniture is not included.

Inside Delivery

Inside Delivery consists of delivering your order to the room of your choice of your home or the designated destination. The order will not be unpacked, installed or assembled and removal of debris or old furniture is not included. This delivery is offered at an additional cost of $45.00 per order. It does not matter if the order includes one or multiple products, the fixed cost of the inside delivery will be the same.

White Glove Delivery

White Glove Delivery and Assembly is our highest delivery service and includes shipping and complete installation of your order in the room/s of your choice. It doesn’t matter the amount of products nor the time it takes to install them. This service is offered at an extra cost of $95.00 per order with disregard of the amount of products. There are no time limits or excess flights of stairs to carry products up and it doesn’t matter if the installation takes 30 minutes or 5 hours, no additional fees will be collected, so relax and just wait as your luxury pieces are installed. Moreover, after the delivery is done, debris will be removed. Removal of old furniture is not included.

This service does not include electrical or structural installations (for example: suspension or wall lamps). If a product needs to be installed attached to a wall, it is the responsibility of the client to prepare the proper backing of the wall before the installation.

About Foscarini

Foscarini is a designer lamp company founded in Murano (Venice) in 1981. The brand’s bond with its home territory is evident in its name paying homage to the patrician Venetian family. Foscarini first produced glass fixtures for the contract sector, which were soon joined by the decorative lamps that became the company’s core business. In 1988, Carlo Urbinati and Alessandro Vecchiato took over the brand and began calling upon Italian and international designers. The first results were the Wassily on the wall applique, designed by Adam Tihany and Joseph Mancin in 1986 and the Lumiere table lamp, designed in 1990 by Rodolfo Dordoni. These products were followed by Orbital by Ferruccio Laviani and Havana by Joseph Forakis, a polyethene lamp that marked Foscarini’s exploration of new materials and its move to Marcon on the mainland of the Veneto province. Foscarini’s best-known lamps include Caboche by Patricia Urquiola and Eliana Gerotto; Twiggy and Tress by Marc Sadler; Gregg by Ludovica and Roberto Palomba; and Le Soleil by Vicente Garcia Jimenez. In more than thirty-five years of existence, Foscarini has received two Compasso d’Oro awards – in 2001 for the lamps Mite and Tite by Marc Sadler and in 2014 for the magazine “Inventario – Tutto è progetto”. Today Foscarini has 2800 multi-brand shops in over eighty-eight countries and two flagship showrooms, Foscarini Spazio Soho in New York and Foscarini Spazio Monforte in Milan. In May 2022, Foscarini acquired 90 per cent of the German company Ingo Maurer GmbH.
