Description
Kami San Lounge Chair brings an origami inspired aesthetic to contemporary seating, transforming the art of folding paper into a distinctive sculptural form. Its angular contours, carefully defined cuts, and folded surfaces create a dynamic silhouette that balances geometric precision with a sense of visual lightness. The result is a lounge chair that stands out through its expressive character while maintaining an inviting and functional design.
Part of the Kami Collection, this armchair draws inspiration from traditional origami, translating its intricate folds into a bold three dimensional composition. The interplay of planes and edges gives the chair depth and personality, allowing its form to reveal different perspectives depending on the surrounding space and viewing angle.
Crafted from polyethylene, Kami San Lounge Chair is suitable for both indoor and outdoor environments. Its versatile design makes it an appealing choice for living rooms, terraces, gardens, lounges, and hospitality settings, bringing a contemporary accent to both residential and contract projects. An optional cushion can further enhance seating comfort while complementing its sculptural profile.
Kami San pairs naturally with the other pieces in the Kami Collection, including the Kami Ichi lounge seat, Kami Ni coffee table, and Kami Yon sofa. Together, these designs create a cohesive setting built around the same origami inspired language, offering a distinctive approach to contemporary furniture that combines artistic expression with everyday functionality.
With its architectural silhouette and unconventional geometry, Kami San Lounge Chair reimagines familiar seating through a fresh and expressive perspective, making it an ideal choice for spaces that value distinctive design and versatile living.
