About Et al.

Born in Italy in 1956 as Metalmobil, Et al. has evolved through decades of design research, artisanal expertise and industrial innovation, establishing a distinctive identity in the world of contemporary furniture. Today, the brand develops collections of chairs, armchairs, stools, sofas and tables designed to shape spaces dedicated to gathering, hospitality and everyday living. Its philosophy rests on the belief that furniture does more than serve a practical purpose: each piece contributes to the atmosphere of a place, influencing how people experience and connect with their surroundings.

Bringing together traditional craftsmanship, advanced production techniques, and a commitment to design, Et al. collaborates with established and emerging designers from the international scene to explore new forms, materials and possibilities. From the reinterpretation of familiar silhouettes to the development of innovative seating solutions, its collections balance aesthetic expression with comfort, durability and versatility, responding to the evolving needs of contemporary interiors and outdoor spaces.

Et al. takes its name from the Latin expression et alii, meaning “and others,” a reference to the collaborative spirit at the heart of its identity. Conceived as an open creative ecosystem, the brand continually grows through the exchange of ideas, expertise, and perspectives, leaving room for new interpretations of contemporary living.
