Description
Making his debut with Oluce, Victor Vaisilev introduced Superluna, a striking project inspired by a personal reflection on Vico Magistretti’s ability to develop iconic shapes that enhance the expressive potential of light. With the advent of LED technology, which has revolutionized the world of artificial light and opened new opportunities to reinvent luminaires, Vaisilev created a family of designer light fixtures – available in both floor and table versions – conceived to give a magical aura to an extremely technical source.
The design is defined by a slender metal rod that discreetly conceals the electrical components, while hosting the light source. The LED emerges seamlessly from the stem in line with a semi-spherical shade, which reflects and diffuses light by rotating on its own axis. This movement evokes the perpetual rhythm of celestial bodies, amplifying the sense of a luminous core radiating within the lamp’s structure.
Superluna embodies the perfect union of luxury lighting design and functional beauty, combining an elegant silhouette with contemporary innovation. With its sculptural presence, it is more than just a lamp: it is a statement piece of luxury lighting fixtures that brings a poetic atmosphere to modern interiors.
