Amore Ocean Bench reinterprets SLIDE’s iconic calligraphic design through a special edition dedicated to sustainability and the beauty of the sea. Its unmistakable silhouette spells out the word “AMORE,” transforming a simple bench into an expressive statement that combines emotion, contemporary design, and a strong environmental message.
Created to celebrate ten years of the original Amore bench, Amore Ocean gives the iconic design a new identity through the use of plastics recovered from the ocean. Its distinctive Pacific Green and Atlantic Blue finishes are obtained respectively from recovered marine ropes and fishing nets, giving the piece a unique visual character while giving new life to materials that would otherwise contribute to marine pollution.
The sculptural lettering transforms the bench into a striking focal point, allowing it to function as both a practical seating element and an expressive piece of contemporary furniture. Its generous proportions and instantly recognizable form make it particularly suited to gardens, terraces, outdoor lounges, hospitality spaces, and contract environments, while its bold presence can also bring an unexpected touch of personality to contemporary interiors.
