Description
Dama takes its cue from the tradition of Italian woven leather, the kind found on iconic fashion handbags, and translates it into a textured, sophisticated rug for the terrace and the home. Each piece is handmade, woven from Olyna® belts in two widths, 2″ and 4″, into a compact motif, creating a double-sided rug whose stitching yarn matches the belts for a seamless finish.
Offered in a variety of colors and patterns, Dama is 100% recyclable, hypoallergenic, easy to clean and resistant to mold and bacteria, making it as practical by the pool as it is in the living room. Made in Italy.
Care and Maintenance:
NodoItalia rugs are handmade, so dimensions may vary slightly (±3%), a natural characteristic of handcrafted products. Suitable for indoor and outdoor use, their Olyna® ropes and braids are stain-resistant and easy to care for.
- Routine care: vacuum frequently or brush lightly to remove dust. Most dirt and stains can be removed if treated promptly.
- Water-based stains: dissolve half a spoonful of standard washing powder in a cup of warm water. Dampen a cloth or sponge with the solution and blot the stain, working inwards from the outside. Do not rub. Rinse the area with clean water and do not use stain removers.
- Oil and grease (butter, oil, lipstick and similar): remove with acetone, then clean with the washing-powder solution and rinse with clean water.
- Chlorine-based cleaners: if used, rinse thoroughly with clean water and do not let the area dry in direct sunlight.
- Avoid stiff or metal brushes and abrasive sponges, which can damage the yarn and cause loss of colored fibers.
