Description
The Italia Side Table by Desalto, designed by Gianluigi Landoni, transforms the structural language of industrial architecture into a compact, sculptural accent piece. Inspired by the form of a beam, its distinctive silhouette reflects Desalto’s expertise in metalworking, combining clean geometry, precise proportions, and a bold material presence in a functional contemporary design. Crafted entirely from cast aluminum, the Italia Side Table highlights the versatility of metal through a cohesive form that emphasizes both strength and visual refinement. Its carefully defined profile gives the piece an architectural character, allowing it to stand out as a design accent without overwhelming its surroundings. The casting process reinforces the continuity of the material and celebrates the relationship between industrial manufacturing and contemporary Italian craftsmanship.
Designed for versatile use, the Italia Side Table provides a convenient surface beside a sofa, lounge chair, or bed. Its compact footprint makes it suitable for living rooms, bedrooms, reception areas, and hospitality interiors, where it can serve as a practical accent while contributing to the overall aesthetic. Available in a selection of lacquered finishes, it can blend into a minimalist setting or introduce a distinctive touch of color. Its suitability for outdoor use also allows it to extend beyond the home, offering a functional surface for patios, terraces, and other exterior settings.
With its sculptural profile and durable cast-aluminum construction, the Desalto Italia Side Table combines everyday functionality with a distinctive industrial-inspired aesthetic. It is a refined choice for contemporary interiors that value material expression, purposeful design, and Italian craftsmanship. Made in Italy.
