The Clay Bistrot Outdoor Table by Desalto, designed by Marc Krusin, brings the sculptural identity of the Clay collection to outdoor dining and hospitality spaces. Its compact proportions and distinctive conical base create a recognizable silhouette, balancing architectural character with the practicality required for smaller settings.
The table features a rigid polyurethane base completely covered with hand-spread paste, giving its surface a distinctive handcrafted character and rich material texture. A 3/8-inch-thick toughened glass top, supported by a laminated backing panel, completes the design. This combination of materials creates a refined contrast between the tactile, sculptural base and the clean, smooth tabletop.
Designed around a smaller footprint, the Clay Bistrot Outdoor Table offers greater freedom of movement while maintaining the collection’s signature visual presence. Its carefully calibrated conical base supports the tabletop without the need for a traditional subtop, resulting in a more streamlined profile. Additional anchoring points secure the top to the base, contributing to the table’s stability.
