The Desalto Helsinki 35 Home Table by Caronni + Bonanomi combines contemporary Italian design with a sturdy steel structure and versatile tabletop options. Part of Desalto’s iconic Helsinki collection, this indoor table features a tubular steel frame with a 13″3/4 x 13″3/4 section and precision-engineered die-cast joints. Its clean geometry and robust construction create a balanced design suited to modern dining rooms and residential interiors. The Helsinki 35 offers a selection of tabletop materials to suit different aesthetic preferences and everyday needs. Options include a 1/4″-thick ceramic top with safety mesh underneath, Fenix® laminate, and 3/8″-thick stratified laminate. The 3/4″-thick MDF version features linoleum on the upper surface and black laminate underneath, combining a distinctive tactile finish with a carefully considered construction. This tabletop is available with a natural ash edge for a warm, contrasting detail or a PVC edge matched to the top color for a more uniform appearance.
The steel frame is available in matte or glossy lacquered colors, as well as exclusive Desalto finishes, allowing the table to complement a variety of interior styles. Its substantial structure provides a confident architectural presence while preserving the Helsinki collection’s signature simplicity.
